Insight Counseling and Wellness Center Psychotherapist
Meet Corinne
In our sessions, we will dive deeply into the parts of you that are struggling and rediscover your most compassionate self.
Clients often come to me dealing with:
- Anxiety
- Trauma Processing and healing
- Chronic Pain/Illness
- Life Transitions (i.e. loss, divorce, retirement)
I take an integrative, trauma-informed approach that combines evidence-based therapies with body movement and specific attention to improving nervous system functioning.
My work draws from:
- Internal Family Systems (IFS) – a parts-based approach that helps you understand and compassionately connect with the different parts of yourself, especially those that feel stuck, overwhelmed, or protective
- Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) – an evidence-based therapy that helps the brain process and heal from traumatic or distressing experiences. Through guided bilateral stimulation, EMDR reduces the emotional intensity of difficult memories so they no longer feel as overwhelming or limiting.
- Body Awareness and Somatic Practices – using body-based techniques to increase awareness, regulate the nervous system, and support healing from stress and trauma.
License/Credential: Licensed Professional Counselor
Degree & Institution: Masters in Clinical Mental Health, Adams State University
Outside of my role as a therapist I love live music, getting outside, playing in water, doing a little yoga and being with family, friends and my dog.
