In a moment of intense personal growth, I found myself circling around a line that seemed to capture my goal, this semi-evasive thing I was striving to reach. Over and over, like a mission statement turned mantra, I held this line in my mind:
be well, be wise, be unabashedly me.
Fast forward in time, add in several years of training and practice, and I found myself bringing that line to others in the form of Stability in Motion. My practice explores the body and the mind through massage, movement, and a curiosity for what is inside of us, what drives us, what defines us each as who we are.
I have a specific interest in working with those who’ve experienced physical and mental traumas, as well as people moving through major transitions. I also like to work with partners or family members - in sets of two or three - who want to learn about supportive touch (and how to give a good back rub). Regardless of who I work with, I aim to create a nourishing and creative space for people to hone in on their personal stability so they can flow through the motions of daily life with ease.
