Kelly approaches each individual with a beginner’s mind, knowing that you have within themselves all you need in order to heal. She believes in supporting individuals through a client-centered holistic approach, with an emphasis on somatic psychology, parts work, mindfulness and EMDR. Kelly believes that healing and growth are possible when a safe container is created through compassion, empathy and understanding.
Kelly has worn many hats in careers spanning 30 years – as an entrepreneur, a 20-year yoga and Pilates instructor, and a leader in nonprofits that serve youth-at-risk and youth in health crises. She did her undergraduate work at Indiana University and returned to school to pursue her masters in mindfulness-based transpersonal counseling at Naropa to help address the growing mental health needs of her community.
Kelly is a 500-hour certified master trainer in Pilates, a 200-hour certified yoga instructor with special certifications in Adapting Yoga for Disabilities, Yin Yoga, Y12SR Yoga for Addictions, iRest Yoga Nidra, and is a nationally certified Warriors at Ease yoga instructor working with the military.
In her free time, Kelly enjoys being in nature, traveling, crocheting and crafting, yoga/meditation, and spending time with her husband, stepchildren and grandbabies.
