Insight Counseling and Wellness Center Psychotherapist
Meet Lindsey
Many of my clients are experts at adapting to others’ expectations, caring for those around them, and keeping the peace at the expense of their own well-being. Beneath the surface, they often carry anxiety, self-doubt, and uncertainty. They feel pulled in many directions, second-guess their decisions, and struggle to trust their own feelings and needs.
My clients are navigating:
- Codependent patterns, people-pleasing, and fawning
- Anxiety, chronic worry, and overthinking
- Low self-worth, perfectionism, or self-criticism
- A sense of feeling disconnected from their emotions, their body, or their authentic self
- Trauma, including childhood wounds, relationship trauma, or a traumatic event
- Depression, emotional numbness, or feeling disconnected from themselves
- Infertility, pregnancy loss and grief
- Pregnancy, postpartum, and the emotional challenges of becoming a parent
- Major life transitions, identity shifts, and questions about who they are becoming
- Burnout and exhaustion, especially in high-achieving or caregiving roles.
I view therapy as a collaborative process and aim to empower my clients to trust themselves. My background in mindfulness and trauma-informed yoga therapy contributes to an integrative approach that supports clients in reconnecting with their body so they can access the valuable wisdom it has to offer.
My approaches:
- Internal Family Systems (IFS)- A parts-based approach that supports you in cultivating clarity and compassion so that you can respond to life with greater confidence and Self-trust.
- Somatic Therapy- A body-based approach that works at the level of your nervous system to create a greater sense of internal safety and connection.
- Yoga therapy- An approach based in yogic practices and philosophy to support the integration of mind, body, and spirit.
